If you ever want to make someone’s day, all you need to do is say hello. I know for me it’s a wonderful thing, and a reminder that my life is blessed. Today in particular felt like a really good day.
From the morning where I was able to sleep in (yay Saturday!) to having time to work on a side project, tidy the flat, do some cooking, and be in my happy bubble. But you know what really topped it? Responding to friends’ emails, and getting friend’s email. Receiving a package from my cousin out west. Thanks to the power of Facebook, I’m actually able to get to know my cousins a little more – and it’s so lovely to do so. So today I received a lovely package – two mugs, some loose Davids Tea, and tea pot. She made the mugs and tea pot!
And then my parents came by, brought dinner, and we all had a nice time.
Good days are simple days.
I’ll take ‘em as they come.
And that is all.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few days after my one year wedding anniversary. That was a shocker. After three years NED, cancer reappeared and pushed me to stage four. This blog captures life despite cancer. With international relocations, job search drama, fighting off apartment vermin, falling deeply in love and more. Life is challenging, but nevertheless inspiring and that’s what Bumpboobs is all about. You can find me over at @Bumpyboobs on Twitter, and hey - I wrote a lovely fiction novel! - over at http://www.CatherineBrunelle.com
