A makeover for the spirit
If a woman with cancer can be helped to look good, chances are she’ll feel better, her spirits will be lifted and she’ll be empowered to face her illness with more confidence. That’s the belief behind the Look Good Feel Better program.

Maria, cancer survivor
Cancer resources like the Look Good Feel Better program help women address the many ways cancer and its treatment affect appearance. At free two-hour workshops, women with cancer come together to learn makeup techniques, cosmetic hygiene and hair alternatives that can help them look and feel more like themselves again. The workshops provide a safe place where women can also share stories, laughter and insights. Offered at more than 116 hospitals and cancer care centers across Canada and led by industry-trained cosmetic advisors, the workshops provide a warm and welcoming cancer support community where women find empowering information and caring support.
